virtual interpreting services (VIS) is rolled outOne of the highly anticipated infrastructure updates to ScheduleInterpreter® is now completed and available to all subscribers of the platform.
With various services requiring the presence of the interpreter moving rapidly to online or virtual delivery method, the need to manage scheduling and financial records is new reality for language service providers.
Using VIS as a modality enables simplified scheduling and allows utilization of nearly 60 various platforms. Interpreters can be compensated and customer accounts billed for the services differently than traditional on-site, phone or video services. Automated tools ensure VIS, as a modality, is activated when virtual platforms are being used to deliver the services.
An update posted to COMMUNICATION CENTER helps to define how much back in time the assignments, interpreter did not send the paperwork for, will be scoped. With new options vendors are not going to be reminded if assignments were submitted and now outside of the allowable period for submission.
Intervals are predefined as 1 through 6 days, 1 through 3 weeks, 1, 2, 3, 6 months and 1 year.
ScheduleInterpreter.com, Inc. will enter translation management systems market by adding Pronto TMS to its portfolio of enterprise tools.
Pronto TMS is a cloud-based platform available through subscription program as part of ScheduleInterpreter® and as stand-alone service. Pronto TMS will be released before the end of 2021 with early access for qualified subscribers of ScheduleInterpreter®.

Block services are provided under special contractual conditions and can be both, billed and compensated using rates other than regular.
Assignments can now be flagged as block services. Customer accounts and vendor profiles can be configured to include block services rates. Option to allow the use of interpreters who provide services using regular rates only, should improve the fulfillment metrics.
