Financial transactions in the Journal

April 18, 2022 - Reading time: ~1 minute

ScheduleInterpreter® is in the process of completing structural updates to enable publication of the financial transactions in the assignment Journal. The updated version of the Journal will feature date and time when customer invoice has been created or deleted (voided).  The Journal will also provide details on payments received or when payment is voided.

Account notes visible in scheduling form and control center

April 15, 2022 - Reading time: ~1 minute

Account notes tab is where you store important information pertaining to that particular account. They can be instructions for your Project Managers, for your vendors, and they can be automatically included in the comments of each request. Having immediate access to account notes is critical for scheduling, that's why ScheduleInterpreter® made them available in the scheduling form, both as a tab and, if needed, as a pop-up, as well as the control center of each assignment.

Compliance profiles based on modality

April 14, 2022 - Reading time: ~1 minute

Compliance profiles are a great tool for screening vendors and giving your clients piece of mind when it comes to compliant vendors. In addition to setting up compliance profiles at the account level, you can now select the modality for which the compliance profile will be required. In most cases, the compliance requirements for on-site interpreting are more stringent than the ones for remote services. With this new feature, the screening of vendors is a lot more precise, and in most cases the pool of vendors for remote services increases significantly.

More automation for rush and emergency interpreting assignments

April 14, 2022 - Reading time: ~1 minute

When project managers reschedule assignments can't be filled under rush or emergency conditions, ScheduleInterpreter® will review the new conditions and make necessary adjustments in the billing and compensation instructions. The platform takes in consideration requesting and billable accounts and relies on the ATP settings. This option works together with automated processing of rush and emergency rates and fees.

Find vendor update

April 14, 2022 - Reading time: ~1 minute

Find vendor is one of the most used option in ScheduleInterpreter®.  This update restores functionality to accurately locate interpreter speaking specific language. Selecting only language does not require geo location of any type and provides list of interpreters and world map with their locations.

Interpreter availability - user interface improvements

April 13, 2022 - Reading time: ~1 minute

Every time when one or group of assignments are being scheduled using ScheduleInterpreter®, interpreters can respond with their availability using computer or mobile device. In-depth research identified some cases when mobile device or computer can post multiple responses. In some cases response can be caused by "double click" of a mouse and in some cases mobile device handling of the touch event. In rare scenarios, this behavior created conflicting entries in the Journal. An update improves response options and eliminates a possibility of an error.

Vendor rate and compensation adjustment notifications can be enabled in Communication Center

April 13, 2022 - Reading time: ~1 minute

Sometimes it can be challenging to fulfill requests, either because of rare languages, distance, compliance requirements and so much more. We understand that there are instances when you have to re-negotiate rates or offer last minute monetary incentives to your vendors for certain assignments. ScheduleInterpreter® not only allows you to do that, but it gives you the option to send automated notifications to vendors, via email, OTS push notification, or text, informing them of the rate or compensation adjustment. PMs are busy, they may forget or not have the time to communicate the adjustment right away. Communication Center takes care of that and also makes an automated entry into the Journal.

Review center - option to hide cancelled billable assignments

April 13, 2022 - Reading time: ~1 minute

Review center received minor update allowing to hide assignments flagged as cancelled billable. This option works together with vendors approval process. When activated, interpreters are required to approve all cancelled billable assignments before they are displayed in the review center for QA process. The option can be activated in the control center.
