Event status code now fully implemented for future events

Major enhancement to the Flow Platform: event status codes are now fully implemented and standardized across all systems. Each event on the platform now has a well-defined status - selected from a structured set of nearly 100 unique codes. This new level of granularity brings powerful improvements across the board, from operational clarity to API consistency.

Event management often involves tracking dozens of variables: when something was planned, what happened, what went wrong (if anything), what was delivered, and what’s pending. With the implementation of a comprehensive event status system, every event now tells a clearer story, making it easier for everyone - platform users, operational teams, and external systems - to understand what's going on, at a glance.

Standardized Reporting

With well-defined status codes, reporting is no longer open to interpretation. Whether you’re reviewing completed events, analyzing delays, or tracking cancellations, each status has a precise, platform-wide meaning. This ensures consistency in KPIs, dashboards, and audit trails, giving stakeholders the clarity they need to make informed decisions.

Seamless API Integration

External systems can now consume event data with confidence. Status codes are standardized and documented, making it easier for partners and clients to integrate with the Flow API. Automation scripts, monitoring tools, and data pipelines can rely on deterministic, version-controlled status values - reducing complexity and increasing reliability.

Faster & More Accurate Reporting

The new status system enables real-time reporting with built-in intelligence. Status transitions are tracked automatically, enabling faster visibility into operational bottlenecks and proactive alerts. Whether an event is pending verification, in progress, rescheduled, or disputed—your systems will know exactly what’s happening, instantly.

Simplified Operations

Operational teams now work with a clear, shared vocabulary. No more guesswork or chasing down ambiguous statuses. From scheduling to billing to customer support, each team can act confidently based on well-defined event outcomes. This not only reduces errors but also shortens response times and improves overall service quality.

This rollout marks a foundational step in making Flow Platform even more robust, transparent, and automation-ready. If you're a current user, your workflows just got a whole lot smarter. If you're a developer or integrator, the API just got easier to work with.
