New Flow Deployment Flexible and Compliant

April 2, 2025 - Reading time: 3 minutes

Starting in April 2025, Flow Platform will transition to a per-account deployment and operation model, where each account will operate within its own dedicated virtual server, implemented as a container. The technology and processes developed by our software engineering team will enhance infrastructure compliance, strengthen data security, without cost increment for our subscribers.

Portability

Whether your business needs servers in the U.S., Europe, or Asia, containerized Flow Platform can be deployed in any country or cloud provider of your choice. Many industries, from healthcare to finance, must follow strict data protection laws. By using dedicated virtual servers deployed in a specific region, government organizations and businesses can meet local compliance requirements with ease.

Scalability

With containers, businesses only use the resources they need, reducing waste and optimizing costs. Plus, as your business grows, scaling up is easy - no need for expensive infrastructure changes.

Performance

Containers are a more efficient way to run applications because they don't need as much power or space as traditional methods. Instead of running a full system for each app, they share resources, which makes them faster and allows more apps to run on the same equipment. This helps businesses get better performance and save money by using their resources more wisely.

Fault isolation

Each containerized application works separately from the others, so if one container has a problem, it won’t affect the rest. Developers can fix issues in one container without interrupting the others. Plus, the container system can use security features to keep problems confined to just one container.

Next Level of HIPAA Compliance

For businesses handling sensitive healthcare data, compliance with HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) is critical. Flow Platform is designed with HIPAA compliance in mind, specifically addressing data storage. The new infrastructure introduces HIPAA-compliant security profiles for virtual servers, ensuring that both stored and processed data meet the highest security and privacy standards.
