New set of features is available to bill for interpreting assignment using combination of flat fee or rate adjustment. This mirrors settings previously available for vendors only. Each job can now follow corporate or account's financial structure, or can be altered to address specific conditions or requirements of the assignment. Selection of rate structure is available in the assignment control center as well as review center. Details for adjustment are available in the accounting module as well.

ScheduleInterpreter® completes another set of updates for integration with Epic EMR platform. Updates include better synchronization of cancelled patient appointments and documentation of the updates in ScheduleInterpreter® Journal. Another update enables option to prevent rescheduling of events or update of the start time. This helps to adjust time of arrival for the interpreter without making changes in the Epic platform. The updates further improve automation of the interpreter scheduling process.

The Internal Revenue Services announced an increase in the standard mileage rate for the final 6 months of 2022. An update is posted to prevent travel times of vendors to be omitted in the ADP payroll data file.  The issue surfaced after an internal update that improved code referencing for statistical and reporting purpose. After initial roll out of the virtual interpreting service details in On the Spot! it will now be a separate custom field and can be configured using account center.  Custom label, sort order and stage of the interpreting assignment will define if interpreter has access to the information. The information includes platform name, phone, pin or password, and link. Currently we can only display the link and recommend the linguist to use e-mail notification with active link.
