ScheduleInterpreter® migration to multi-branch settings is completed, making configuration of the staff and vendors' profiles more flexible. Starting July 18, 2023 all new policies are active. If the calendars are not showing the expected content, make adjustments in the users' profiles to include all branches. ScheduleInterpreter® removed mandatory 20 mins session expiration settings and option to activate or deactivate. The inactivity of the user and session expiration can be configured using CONTROL CENTER > MISC settings.
ScheduleInterpreter allows the use of Microsoft Azure AD single sin-on (SSO) to authenticate the user and login to ScheduleInterpreter platform. Today, Microdot is experiencing some technology issues, preventing the profiles from being correctly processed. This, in result, prevents authorized users from being able to access ScheduleInterpreter. More information on Microsoft outage can be found here https://downdetector.com/status/microsoft-365/
Effective July 11, 2023 the issue is resolved. Microsoft continues to have issues with some of the products, including MS Teams and MS Outlook. If experiencing issues with logging in, please contact our support team using ScheduleInterpreter Connect.

We want to provide you with some additional information about the service disruption that occurred on July 6th, 2023.
To explain this event, we need to share a little about the internals of the ScheduleInterpreter® storage. While the majority of ScheduleInterpreter® services and the platform run within the main ScheduleInterpreter® tier 1 (T1) storage, ScheduleInterpreter® makes use of multiple tier 2 (T2) storage units to host non-critical data, including monitoring and internal platform analytics. These T2 storage units provide cost effective solutions for all subscribers and allow ScheduleInterpreter® to collect large volumes of information without affecting the price of the overall services. On July 4, 2023, part of the database, hosting non-critical statistical data has been moved to a T2 storage unit. In the process, an error has been made, preventing the database correctly allocating the necessary resources. At 3:16 PM CDT on July 6, 2023, an automated process restarted the core database service in the attempt to flush data that has been accumulated in transactional log. After automated restart, database server was unable to identify the location of the T2 storage hosting statistical data, which led to service interruptions. Read more

This update enables configuration of the interpreters' profiles to utilize rates of any modality. Now remote services, such as video (VRI) or over the phone (OPI) interpreting can utilize compensation structure from other modalities. Organizations promoting remote working environment will be able to create simpler compensation structures and spend less time on management.
Waiting for vendor option has been updated, to offer fully customized timeline. This removes previously restricted to 1 year only lookup for interpreting assignments that still listed as incomplete due to interpreter not submitting hours of services and expenses. This update is now live for all subscribers of ScheduleInterpreter® platform.
Team Notes is an extension of the calendar, combining the simplicity of the note taking application and the power of the calendar module in ScheduleInterpreter®. In its core, Team Notes enable all members of the team to create and modify notes specific to a particular day. Notes are added and automatically follow the user through the calendar. Each date can have multiple notes. Content is can include any text entries. For example, specific date may contain details about particular event, notes associated with a linguist or staff member. In addition, Team Notes maintain the status and can be shown or hidden, based on personal preferences of the user. To access team notes, look for an arrow pointing left under the logo of your organization.
New option to capture interpreter being en route is now available in On the Spot! application. If location sharing is activated, ScheduleInterpreter® can automatically capture starting location to calculate accurate mileage and travel time. An update to user interface in the platform, coming later in June 2023, will provide visual indication when interpreter selects Driving to assignment option. This is a continuing commitment of ScheduleInterpreter.com, Inc. to improve logistics and reporting.
